The Fort Worth After School program is available to students in grades 3-5 on a first come, first serve basis. We are able to accept 50 students per year.

Mission
To provide quality before and after school programs in a safe environment that results in educational, physical and social development for elementary and middle school-aged students.Goals:
- Promote educational competence for academic achievement standards in core academic subjects.
- Enhance physical and social development by offering students a broad array of additional highly rigorous activities designed to reinforce and complement the academic program for participating students.
- Reduce juvenile crime by keeping students involved in educational, nurturing and safe environment.
Activities
Activities at FWAS may be placed in seven broad categories:
- Tutoring/ Homework
- Academic enrichment
- Fine arts
- Technology tools/skills
- Service learning
- Recreation/ Youth development
Students participate in the following clubs at MLPhillips After School:

- Arts and Crafts
- Coding Club
